Obama and Social Media Continuing Ed

jake2Members of the GCG account service and marketing staffs got together today to review some lessons from the Obama campaign. It’s part of an ongoing monthly commitment from the company (and overwhelming interest on the part of the staff) to broaden our understanding of the world and how it might impact our clients.

Jenny Robertson, account executive, presented a compilation of insights and added perspective from her TCU classmate, Kenny Thompson, who was a member of Obama’s advance staff. Jenny’s mate even played a game of pickup basketball with

the President on election day and featured prominently in organizing the record-breaking Inaugural celebration in Washington D.C.

Hopefully, these will be lessons we can put to use with clients right away.
